This year, we will meet in-person at the University of California-Berkeley in historic Berkeley, California.

VENUE

Registration, panels, and plenaries will occur in the iconic International House: an historic “experiment” built in Spanish “Moorish” style in 1930. The building has a rich history: it advanced agendas for gender, racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity.

  • Classic view over Berkeley campus and town towards the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin.
  • The Cesar Chavez Student Center, at the south entrance to campus (and north entrance to Telegraph Avenue).
  • Sproul Plaza, staging area for free speech and protest.
  • The Hearst Mining Building
  • The BART station in downtown Berkeley provides easy connection to Oakland, San Jose, San Fransisco, and the entire Easy Bay.
